Some people still like to use CHAIN, READ, etc and will want that prefixing.

I just wouldn't put it on the column names in the tables themselves.
This way I can still do a
select SYSTEM_TABLE_SCHEMA, SYSTEM_TABLE_NAME, DATA_TYPE, LENGTH, NUMERIC_SCALE
from qsys2.syscolumns
where SYSTEM_COLUMN_NAME = 'MYCOLUMN'
