Thank you for this:
Try "fcstat fcs1" (I guess fcs1 is the device name of T2 port) to check
whether it is connected to a switch or not.

When the connection is good you get a plethora of information. Like the WWPN and WWNN displayed should show up on the switch when the switch runs: sh flogi da

When the connection is bad you get
$ fcstat fcs1
Error opening device: /dev/fscsi1
errno: 00000045
