I kind of like FLRT. I do advise them to update it when new fixes come out. Take the newer TR's for example. A site that is receptive on the Feedback option.
FLRT respects the compatibility charts.
Y'all know I like to stay leading edge on OS, right? Well firmware/HMC was one thing I let myself get behind on. It got to the point where I had to stair step upgrades. Upgrade HMC, upgrade firmware, upgrade HMC, upgrade firmware, repeat until current. That was a few years ago. My HMC's are now at: V10R1M1011
