Hi Bryan,

If one of those systems is old, there's no additional disk space, but both are on the same subnet and both can run SSH you can use SSH+GZIP to compress data while sending the file.

From the origin:

|cat /QSYS.LIB/MYLIB.LIB/MYSAVF.FILE | gzip -9 -c | ssh <RemoteSystem> "cat > /home/USERID/MYSAVF.FILE.gz" If you have a PC on the same subnet you can use WinSCP and create a connection with SCP or SFTP enabling compression to improve performance. Then send the compressed file to the target system. |
