Getting into system state was a capability at one time and something that
was utilized by a few. But a lot of work went into V6 to put a stop to
it. That's why some of the APIs introduced by IBM along that time might
seem "odd" to some -- they were to help software developers out that had
rather special needs (and some on this mailing list were involved in that
effort way back when lol).

A long time ago on a machine known as the AS/400, a guy named Leif

In it, he shows how to use RPG to write an MI compiler, and one of the
example programs is how to change member information (starts on page
36). However, it requires the program be compiled in system state.

I don't recommend doing this, but it is possible.

Is there any way to reset the last used date of an object to null or some
