I don't know whether acsbundle.jar is updated in a group ptf - there are
specific PTFs for this - 1.1.8.7 version of Getting Started has this
section -
5.3 Optional IBM i PTFs
For Administrators that want to maintain a centralized location on an
IBM i for their users to install and update the product,
release-specific PTFs are available that will provide the extracted
contents of IBMiAccess_v1r1.zip at:
/QIBM/ProdData/Access/ACS/Base
The PTFs for 1.1.8.7 are:
V7R4M0 SI76178
V7R3M0 SI76179
V7R2M0 SI76180
These PTFs are superseded for each product update and will normally be
available within 2 weeks of the availability of the product update.
No mention of group ptfs, but maybe, right?
I've not been actively involved with PTFs for awhile - I would think
having to go for a superseded PTF all the time is just not a good time.
But you are on top of this stuff, you'll know better than I, for sure.
