Long ago everything there was free, but now most of the
interesting/useful tools, including this one, are behind a paywall.
The owner of the site calls it a "donation" but it is mandatory, and
there is a set price per year. It's quite inexpensive: $50 for one
year's unlimited access to everything on the site. In other words, if
you are only there to get one utility, it costs the same as getting 10
or 20 utilities, so you might as well grab anything that sounds even
remotely interesting to you.
The "donation" terminology is also weird because, if I'm reading it
right, even if you are feeling generous and want to give $100, then
you get two years of access instead of one, so actually you are still
paying the same rate as the least generous donor.
But quirky pay structure and terminology aside, making a "donation" to
Easy400.net is a great value.
