One reason submitted by IBM support.

GO BRMS

2 - Backup

1 - Backup Planning

2 - Work with backup control groups

Then on your control group you do an option 8 - Change Attributes.

Page down to the fifth screen that says Additional Backup Policy Properties.

As you can see you are not able to change anything on this screen via the green screen.

You are able to change these from the IBM Navigator for i.

For example the "Unmount user-defined file systems" is one of the parms on that change attributes fifth screen.

In the IBM Navigator for i you can

Click on Backup, Recovery and Media Services on the left.

Click on the Advanced button.

Click on Backup Control Groups.

Right click on the control group you want to take a look at and select Properties from the list.

Click on the tab on the left that says What.

You will see at the bottom of the screen a check box for the Unmount user-defined file systems.

You are able to change this from the IBM Navigator for i.

Do we need a BRMS RFE to add this support to green screen?

Paul

Previously, I used BRM GUI for specify object omits, which didn't exist is green screen.
Now that specific objects can be included in a BRMS list, is there any functionality remaining that can only be done in BRMS GUI, doesn't exist in green screen?

Thank You
