One possible solution is go to to ESS and order the latest refresh of the I_BASE image as per
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/959455
Install it by following the instructions at:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i/7.4?topic=iudirs-replacing-licensed-internal-code-i-same-version-release
Then install the latest cume and groups.
