And one more note: Scripted xfers via scp using password authentication are
a form of insanity.
Yes, I know, "My business partner insists ..."
Scripted xfers should use public key exchange.
I cannot imagine how scripted scp or sftp xfers with password
authentication can possibly pass a sec audit in this day and age.
