Or simply ssh into your own system and try scp'ing your file manually and
see if it works.

scp myfile myid@mycom@targetsite:/somedir

Interactively in the shell in PASE you'll know if it works at all.

Then you can debug why your scripted version doesn't work.

I've successfully uploaded a file using QMGTOOLS/STRFTP

I find it very hard to believe that's going to work with scp. scp thinks
the @ sign separates the user id from the server name.
*Maybe* scp interprets the last @ sign in a line as the delimiter, I
don't know, but you don't have ids like that on a typical *nix system.
