I was advised to use DUPTAPBRM since I would copy the BRMS data across
also. As usual I needed to provide more context.

The tapes will be loaded into a target IBMi host and we need all the BRMS
data copied across. This is because the files are daily backups of a
primary database with the same name each time.. So if we want to perform
forensic analysis on the data, we need to go to BRMS and restore the backup
for the date in question. If the date/time of when the backup is not saved,
then it would be impossible to do that.

I would consider a straight DUPTAP vs.DUPTAPBRM. BRMS will add some
overhead to the copy. Since it’s a one time deal I would not worry about
updating BRMS since via network you can update the the database. Or just
restore QUSRBRM.

As to time, quite some time.
