Hello Diego,

You can improve connections between to systems adding static *HOST routes and selecting an specific Interface:

In this example I use IBMi01 = 192.168.50.225 and IBMi02 = 192.168.50.226. GW=192.168.50.1

ADDTCPRTE RTEDEST('192.168.50.226') SUBNETMASK('255.255.255.255') NEXTHOP
('192.168.50.1') BINDIFC('192.168.50.225') DUPRTEPTY(*HIGH) TEXT('Static route from IBMi01 to IBMi02’)

This is an easy example, but on switched networks this can make a difference.

True, this *can* make a difference, but only if one link isn't enough to transport all the data flowing from and to the machine besides the FTP data.

I'm not sure how common it is to have more than one NIC and each one a separate IP address assigned in bigger shops. To me, it's very uncommon (outside of IBM environments, that is).

:wq! PoC
