Hi Patrick,

You can improve connections between to systems adding static *HOST routes and selecting an specific Interface:

In this example I use IBMi01 = 192.168.50.225 and IBMi02 = 192.168.50.226. GW=192.168.50.1

ADDTCPRTE RTEDEST('192.168.50.226') SUBNETMASK('255.255.255.255') NEXTHOP
('192.168.50.1') BINDIFC('192.168.50.225') DUPRTEPTY(*HIGH) TEXT('Static route from IBMi01 to IBMi02’)

This is an easy example, but on switched networks this can make a difference.

When connecting from IBM I you can add static routes to your target servers and avoid network broadcasting.

May I kindly ask for more details on this statement(s)?
