My typing skills are not the best (especially on a Sunday morning!)

Hello Paul,

When you remove the OMIT specs from the joins do you get data?

Yes, I wrote that implicitly in my text, mentioning one of the two screen
shots.

When you include the OMIT specs you are asking the database to return
NULLs in xxx_IST fields.

Wild ass guess:
Do you need to specify ALLNULL on the fields in the record layout?

I cannot find the term ALLNULL neither in my DDS reference, nor in my ILE
RPG reference documents. I have older ones for matching my OS version on the
150, V4R5. From a Google search, it seems to be a H spec (in newer releases
only?).
