I had this issue a week or so ago, but it was on our user created
directories for our web servers. The errors resulted in 30k page spooled
file job logs for each object that somehow got this attribute set to *NO.

Not only is Rob correct, many of those objects will be affected by PTFs in
the future, and when IBM replaces that object they will just reset that
attribute where they want it, and you'll just have to waste time doing it
again.

Again, those messages are merely to inform you of objects that have been
marked allow save *NO, as opposed to an error in the backup.

I strongly discourage changing the ALWSAV on all IBM supplied objects to
force them to save.
Sure, some are log files that IBM omits because they are locked.
However some of them are saved/restored with the OS itself as part of the
SAVSYS and forcing them to also be saved with IFS SAV/RST can cause a world
of hurt during upgrades, etc.

Hello Gad,

shall I set all object's ALWSAV to *YES ?
I would sure like to save the entire IFS including /QIBM

I'd do what you mentioned in your first sentence to achieve what you
describe in your second sentence. ;-)
