Are you working remotely and saving to a file share?
Most of the open dialogs that connect to file share locations do take longer when remote and not local my laptop.

Subject: ACS RSS Save results takes forever when results in separate window
Hi all
There was a recent thread about showing ACS RSS results in a separate window. Also about cursors closed after a set time, which is fantastic.
So I tried the separate windows thing - I'm using 1.1.8.7 - if I select to save results in that windows, it can take several minutes before the prompt for file type and location is displayed.
If I have the results in the main window, that dialog is displayed immediately.
Has anyone else had this happen, or can try it out. I will eventually see if I can submit a ticket, it's not easy here, due to some authority setups.
