Re: Test diff mail relay

That looks perfect, but I can't get it to work. Here's what I'm trying.


5250: TELNET RMTSYS() PORT(25)
Gives: 220 hostname.domain Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service ready at

Telnet command: open no.reply@my_domain.com
Gives: 500 5.3.3 Unrecognized command '????open'


Any tips?

You can use the old telnet to port 25 and use a script to send an email
from your iSeries to the new mail server.


telnet
set localecho

open Your.mail.server 25

helo SomeDomain.com

mail from:noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

rcpt to:cUser@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DATA
this is a test.
Tesing email.
.
quit
