You can use the old telnet to port 25 and use a script to send an email from your iSeries to the new mail server.

I have our IT department's Exchange server configured in my SMTP properties as my mail router. They're in the process of replacing that Exchange server with a new server. Is there a way to test the new server from IBMi, or do I have to change my SMTP properties, bounce SMTP and hope?
