We do not have the PATH environment variable on any of our V7R2 systems.

Subject: System Environment Variable - Path - confirm if and where used

We have a System Environment Variable - Path.
Programmers don't think this is used, but I'd like to confirm before deleting, or changing.
Does any of IBM LPP use/need Path set, (PASE, QSHELL, etc)?

We have a new app that needs Path set differently.

Name . . . . . . . . . : PATH
Value . . . . . . . . . : '/usr/bin:.:/QOpenSys/usr/bin:/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/SC1/OpenSSH/openssh-3.5p1/bin'

Anyone in the group have any input on this?
