You are correct. Same ports as ODBC.

I have started reverting back to the ODBC driver since that driver works on all platforms so you can have agnostic code. And ODBC is what .Net Core can use as well, which should be the direction for new apps if possible.

However I think the OLEDB and ADO.Net drivers should also work fine if you're using classic .Net stuff.

Hi,

We have some consultants that want to connect to our IBM I using the OLE DB provider. Does anyone know what server needs to running to accept that connection? I would assume it is the same one that handles ODBC, but I could be wrong. Also, what port would it try to connect on? Thanks.
