One problem we had with SMTP from IBM i is that SNDSMTPEMM turns the sender
address into userid@machinename.domainname.extension such as
jwoehr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Many (most?) SMTP servers nowadays reject subdomained sender addresses for
security reasons.

MS Exchange Server is one of the rejecting servers.

I never found a way to turn off this misfeature of SNDSMTPEMM so we ended
up always using GoAnywhere for sending mail.
