Could this be an access restriction on the windows server, allowing only read access for remote IP addresses?

Peter, yes that is correct.
And on our I, I can see the share, and see the contents. I can even copy an entry in the directory to a folder on our IFS.
Just cannot write/rename/delete.
So it is passing the credential check, somewhat, just not giving me full access.
We are both on 7.3
We are both on SMBv2
