I know you are going from the IBM i, not to it but hear me out.
When you connect to IBM i, from another machine that job can look up certain job attributes, like the IP address of the remote connection. Exit points use this frequently to restrict certain IP addresses.
If IBM i can do this I'm sure that the Windows servers can. It's not that QNTC has to send the IP address. That address is just easily available.
