I imagine you pulling a mid-sized suitcase with the portable 9401 in one
hand, and the other is pulling a chain wound around a fridge-sized 1960's
James Bond Evil Overlord style tape drive with rolls affixed to it's
bottom. :-D

Hmm. Thinking of the RAMAC 350 demonstration at the Computer History Museum: a huge, 65-year-old, 50-platter fixed-pack hard drive being exercised from a modern notebook computer.
