Even Windows allows to to hide lock screen elements to adversely reboot machines after pressing Ctr-Alt-Del on the console screen. I don't know common and modern OS where console vs. LAN access makes any difference from a security viewpoint. With my limited knowledge, the only OS who have an open, unauthorized console are typical mainframe OS's (MVS, VM, maybe non-IBM-systems) descendants. Maybe this stays true with VM, also.
