The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

The program worked for me.
This would fail if your network does not allow ftp out from the IBMi.
Also the program is using a specific IP address which is an IBM site at
170.225.15.31
This site is being accessed using "anonymous" and password "whatismyip"
Then issuing the "status" command
You can test this from the command line using the following;
ftp '170.225.15.31'
anonymous
whatismyip
status
I am not sure what type of ftp server this is as if you do the same to an
IBMi ftp server you do not get the line;
211-Connected to <dns_name> (<IP_Address>)

Address could not be determined", which could be the problem ? if i try to
run VFYTCPCNN <myas400>, it works fine
