Thank you for the reply.
I don't have a card in C12. I do have a number of RJ45's
in C11. I tried C11 and didn't get ACS to find a console
there either. The document I was looking at said to
connect the LAN console to T1. And during the
configuration I had choices:
A600 500A = No console defined
A601 500A = Twinax console
A602 500A = Direct cable console
A603 500A = LAN console
A604 500A = HMC console
So it makes sense to plug it into the same port as the
HMC. (When a person has an HMC)
I am taking a guess that all the RJ45's in C11 won't
communicate until after the network is configured.
I do have my firewall on the PC tuned off. My Antivirus is
excluding ACS and Windows Defender is turned off.

I'm working on creating a console on a new 41G Power 9.list
I have connected a CAT5 cable from T1 to a PC.
I have configured the PC Local Area Connection to DHCP.
I did get an IP address of 169.254.195.126
I can ping to it from the PC.
I turned on the Power 9 and configured the console for a
LAN console. I am getting A603500C indicates
success.
I installed ACS on the PC.
I selected Management > System Configurations
I Clicked Locate Console... button.
There was no address in the "Near" field
I clicked Search.
I waited. Nothing was found.
I was expecting it to find 169.254.195.126
On the PC I'm running Java version 8 update 281
How can I get it to find the console?
