QMGTOOLS Vulnerability 4/2019 to 7/2019 releases.

There is a warning in APAR SE72229

"Using QMGTOOLS/SYSSNAP when build date is between April 17,2019
and before July 16,2019 is not supported as it may cause
unpredictable errors that may require recovery steps."

Said recovery steps may require you to recover some of YOUR STUFF from tape.

ANY Time IBM requests that you send them a SYSSNAP it says: "Be sure to tape the option to UPDATE QMGTOOLS before you run the snap. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP." (No shit!)

Often we are seeing now that customers are blocking access to IBM from their systems, this prevents the upgrade from working. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! If you cannot enable access to IBM then obtain a new copy of QMGTOOLS in another way!!!
