Re: IBMi Printer setup through VPN

The problem you have here is that you are not creating a 'VPN Tunnel' rather you are using a client VPN. As such the connection is only to your workstation not to your network. Given that, there is no path from IBM i to a printer on your home network directly.

So you can:

Create sessions in ACS that direct output to those printers, which I suspect is what you are attempting to avoid.

Work with your company network team to establish a true tunnel. Depending on the vendor used they may have small appliances that do exactly that. Meraki for one has some very nice little boxes that are simple to set up (Like 'plug in', 'connect', 'use' :-) ) and others do as well.

Personally I do this all the time but I AM the networking guy for my company and have a Cisco Firewall at my home with a true tunnel back to our systems.
