I got a email from IBM about a utility to perform a Flash copy to a new
LPAR, then you can do a restricted save.
a statement in the note says: The Full System Copy Services Manager (FSFC)
for IBM i is unique as it does not require an IASP, but instead Flashes the
system ASP.
System ASP, vs. IASP. So on current models, the System ASP can exist on
External Disk?
I think of "System ASP" as "disks formatted and owned by a IBM i server",
and a IASP as "a SAN that presents disk to IBM i". But we can now have
the IBMi point to a san and say "put my System ASP here"?
