save files is a great idea. And with a little help of CL should be--
done rather quickly.

Betreff: What would you suggest for archiving ancient libraries?
I have a JS-12 on v 7.2 that I plan to retire. This guy is the endthe line for many libraries that I have carried along for too long. I
of
have a new Power 9 9009 41A v 7.4 that has plenty of space but there
is really no need to move these libraries because I can't remember
when last used them. I would like to retain my status as a packrat so
I need a suggestion on how best to save these libraries so they can be
restored if necessary but not taking up valuable space on the IBM i.
dead. So, I thought saving each library as a save file (as tedious as
Tape is not an option because the tape drive for the JS-12 (external)
is
that might be) and then pushing them over to a share somewhere would
be the best option. Can you think of a better way to handle it?
