RE: Question on certificates

Tom,
I'm not sure that many people made it past your first sentence. You received some good replies on how to apply certificates to IBM i. However many of them failed to address your concerns about the file not being readable and beginning with
-- BEGIN CERTFICATE --
(although spelled correctly)

Pete did ask some good questions, as there are multiple files which make up the certificate process. I would list the files provided followed by a column with their
Coded character set ID . . . . . . . . :
as shown by WRKLNK option 8=Display attributes

Sometimes you have better luck using something like FileZilla than other ways of getting the files from your PC to IBM i.
