I believe I found part of the problem. I changed the CPYTOIMPF command to
using the CPYTOSTMF command and that is working now for unzipped files. I
can zip the file and open it in windows explorer,

QSH CMD('jar cfM /tmp/ftftp00c.zip /tmp/ftftp00c.txt')

However, the emailed zipped file is not readable. I use SNDSMTPEMM to email
the zipped file. I am able to open the zipped file in Windows Explorer but
not when the file is emailed as an attachment.

SNDSMTPEMM RCP((darryl@xxxxxxxxxx) <darryl.freinkel@xxxxxxxxxxxx)>)
SUBJECT('* FTFTP00C failed to do FTP transaction') NOTE('Please review the
attached joblog for the errors') ATTACH(('/tmp/ftftp00c.zip' *ZIP *BIN))

Why is it not correct?
