Circa 2013 the company I worked for had a problem with wifi dead spots
in the warehouse. They network guys solution was to eliminate the dead
spots by adding more access points and repositioning some to where they
wouldn't be blocked by the steel shelving and/or the dense product
packages. They had something they could use to monitor signal strength
and also something tweakable in the software that improved the switching
to an access point with a stronger signal,
