IS this a wildcard certificate? I suspect so as the name star.... would indicate.

The HMC doesn't directly allow a wildcard cert. You need to build a java certificate store that contains it and then import the whole store into the HMC.

Go ahead and write an RFE for that and I will be the second to vote for it. :-)
