Exactly. But if you are using anything more than *ANY then typically you remove the *ANY.

Exception is if you have some that are *ENTER (vs *SIGNON) to allow workstations to transfer between subsystems.

The problem is that people try to set up separate subsystems for different generic names: FRINTER for workstations beginning with FR for example. But then they leave a catch-all for the remaining, like QINTER. And since ADDWSE doesn't support an omit that’s where they run into this issue.
