I guess the big thing is to avoid this situation:
"If there is a matching workstation entry with *SIGNON in multiple subsystems..."
The problem is that people try to set up separate subsystems for different generic names: FRINTER for workstations beginning with FR for example. But then they leave a catch-all for the remaining, like QINTER. And since ADDWSE doesn't support an omit that’s where they run into this issue.
