I guess so.

I remember OS/2 Warp and the AMAZING DOS boxes, totally isolated. Once we got a DOS virus, but never reached  the whole OS/2 system.

I think that PASE is some kind of a sophisticated, Enterprise Class and isolated AIX Box running  inside IBM i. Ok, technically is not, but the effect is the same.

That being said... I'm sure you could build a really nasty Db2 Store Procedure to do really bad things on your database.
