IBM i IFS can be a carrier, but due to the object oriented nature of the system none have been created thus far for QSYS.LIB

Now with all the open source stuff available, it might happen in there. Just not reported yet.
That won’t stop a system from being encrypted with the ransom ware that’s floating around if there are shares to the root, or QSYS.LIB. As Rob points out, creating a share to those things is a good way of “enhancing your resume” for your next job........
