It might depend on how you define "hobbyist", but I think this is true
also. If you change "hobbyist" to "enthusiast" then it's even more
obviously true. You can expect basically every hobbyist to be an
enthusiast. There may be enthusiasts who aren't technically hobbyists,
but who share a similar spirit.

I think I started out as a hobbyist (as a kid). My enthusiasm was
strong enough that I knew from a very early age that this is the field
I wanted to be in, and I went to school for it, so... am I still a
hobbyist?
