We migrated to SAN storage-- currently, we have V9000 storage at both our headquarters and our backup location. We use a version of System Mirror (I don't remember the exact version) with Change Volumes (related to flash copy) to replicate data from HQ to backup. Data latency is between 15-30 minutes.

The backup includes -everything- on our production machine-- data files, programs, IFS, OUTQs-- if it's on the iSeries, it's on both of them!

The backup is between the two V9000 units; nothing runs on the iSeries systems. The iSeries doesn't realize it's being duplicated!

Not exactly the cheapest solution, but it's 100%.

We have a prod and DR box located off-site. Looking for some DR suggestions/solutions. We would like to replicate our database from our prod box to the DR box along with some IFS paths. Replication is only needed 1 way (prod to DR).

Any suggestions on either packages or in-house solutions?
