Firmware applies takes more than an IPL.
The server needs to be shut down, then activated, for "disruptive fixes"

The latest PTF for VL910 is MH01812, and updating should be relatively painless. The doc says that upgrading to a new Version_Level is disruptive. Unfortunately it doesn't elaborate as to what "disruptive" means.
