Booth, I would love for you to do this as I am busier than a one-armed
paper hanger with jock itch.

I decided to use this site:

https://geocoding.geo.census.gov/

since it's a government site, it should be around longer than the Yahoo
sites I used years ago.

I got far enough along to build this URL and dump the program. Slightly
formatted dump follows.

https://geocoding.geo.census.gov/geocoder/locations/address?street=830+Hayden+St&city=Ft+Wayne&state=IN&zip=46803&benchmark=Public_AR_Current&format=json


I believe this is correct based on the examples given in the PDF available
at that site, because when I paste it into the browser it works.

But I'm not sure how to proceed. If you write a program to accept the
street/city/state/zip and return latitude/longitude, I will gladly turn it
into a service program. Not offended by your offer.

I'm guessing you might make it more versatile to accommodate what others
might want to use it for.
