Re: Get latitude/longitude from address for free

Forgive my ignorance because I don't even know enough about this stuff to
be dangerous, but is :

"Select * from json_table(systools.httpgetclob(:URL, ..."

designed for reading a table via cursor for ultimately putting into an
array? Got this impression from googling a thread from a couple of months
ago.

Asking because I'm looking to provide a single address at a time and
receive a single set of lat/long coordinates.

SQL has a "... from json_table(systools.httpgetclob(:URL, ..."
function. A fairly simple RPG program will get that info for you if you
find a web service you like. Then you're good from then on.
