I would call that in. While the license is reporting over a year out the message in QSYSOPR does not agree. I'm wondering if the problem IBM had with the date processing in SST is falling into the licensing software in some way.

Either way I would call it in quick since V7R2 is on it's last legs....

Subject: CPF9E72 Grace Period Expiring Message

I see this message in QSYSOPR today for 5770BR1/5050. The message details say that the software key is set to expire soon or that the number of users exceeds what is authorized. When I display the license key information for 5770BR1/5050 I see that the number of users is set to *NOMAX and the expiration date it 3/31/2021 which is more than a year out. This is on a Power 8 server running 7.2.

The message details say "Usage limit of 0 exceeded. Grace period expires in 70 days on 05/04/20".

The license details show:

Product identifier . . . . : 5770BR1
License term . . . . . . . : V7R2M0
Feature . . . . . . . . . . : 5050
Description . . . . . . . . : Backup Recovery and Media Services
for IBM

System serial number . . . : XXXXXXXX

Processor group . . . . . . : P05

License Key . . . . . . . . : XXXXXXXXXXX

Usage limit . . . . . . . . : *NOMAX

Expiration date . . . . . . : 03/31/21

Vendor data . . . . . . . . : *NONE

Is this anything to be concerned about?
