we have a customer 3995 optical archive with 200 disks which were
operated in the same room as a laser printer. almost none of
the disks were readable as the archive arrived here. hours
or manual cleaning work as there was a slight film of dust on everything.

We have no printers in the machine room. Back in the tractor feed days we discovered that paper dust was playing havoc on the other equipment.
