We are using Dell EMC DD2500's. We use for both VTL for IBM i and for another product. This other product was formerly known as IBM Tivoli Storage Manager but is now known as IBM Spectrum Protect. We are running the AIX version. We converted from the Linux version some time ago. This backs up all of our files from Windows PC's and servers. And the AIX is ran on one of our Power systems which also hosts a few lpars of IBM i.
Interesting thing was that before we were using any DC's that were in dedicated co-location facilities we were having our local DD2500 replicate to a DD2500 in one of those colo's. It was run as a service by the colo.
