Just a view in qsys2. I don't remember having to do anything special to have it created. I started changing some of my jobs that did DSPUSRPRF to *OUTFILE a while back.

SELECT AUTHORIZATION_NAME, TEXT_DESCRIPTION FROM user_info

That isn't what you are looking for?

Subject: Is there a way to extract some information from user profiles via SQL

Hi everyone
Before I forget, we are on V7r3

We have an audit trail file that contains amongst other things, the user profile that applied the change The user profile id has no bearing on the person whos user profile it is However, the text of the user profile DOES contain the persons name Is there a way via SQl to extract that text data?
I have looked here

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/IBM%20i%20Technology%20Updates/page/DB2%20for%20i%20-%20Services

But couldn't really find anything
I know that there is a command - RTVUSRPRF that can be used in a CL program, but I am hoping that there is something out there within SQL As always, all replies gratefully accepted
