I think a big part of it is that people think 5250 above all else when using stuff like iACS or it's predecessors.
The first part of iACS I start up is the main screen. 5250 isn't started until later. Actually I start main screen. Then from that I start Session Manager. From Session Manager I start up my multiple sessions one.
That's the manual stuff.
But actually in my startup group is a Run SQL Scripts file of daily stuff I check, like, "did the BRMS backups complete around their normal times?", etc.

But, back to your issue...
On the main iACS screen (acslaunch_win-64.exe) Management, System Configurations, add all your lpars to that first.
